BBQ at this place means slapping sauce from a bucket onto terribly prepared meet that seemed to be doused with liquid smoke.
The wife always looks for a smoker or pile of wood outside BBQ joints. We didn't see it in this place and I should have listened to her.
We must have caught it on a fluke night (4.2 avg?!?!) because it may have been the worst food I've had...ever. It only got one star because that is the lowest I can go.
I just hope I don't get sick, it I wouldn't be surprised.
I ordered ribs and my wife pulled pork. We sat down, took one bite and both threw it away - a complete waste of $30.
They have the best ribs I've ever eaten. The meat falls off the bone and has great flavor. Their sauce is wonderful. I could eat it by the spoonful. Just wish they had a location closer to Fort Worth.
Combo plate good portions brisket and ribs, side we're a little dry . Friendly service. Seems like a nice family run restaurant. Would eat here again. Prices aren't too bad.
I love brisket.. Their brisket was dry.. & the kid cutting had a bad attitude.. But the jalapeno beans and sweet tea were amazing ! The ribs were great too. ! Had a great family restroom facility as well ! Overall.. Aside from the brisket. It was a good visit.
Was not impressed with quality or taste. Good portions if you enjoyed the flavors. Didn't taste like Texas BBQ to me. Sausage was tough but brisket was tender but both even with mild sauce was lacking flavor. No smoke.
